#HallOfFame | Delight 2015

Delight Conference is "a unique gathering of designers, technologists and businesses that care about creating experiences people love." This two day event kicks off on October 5, 2015 and they recently announced their speaker lineup.

Out of 15 speakers, 7 speakers are women. Delight Conference's 47% female speaker gender ratio has landed them a spot in the GenderAvenger Hall of Fame!

MozCon 2015 is Moz.com's annual marketing conference, which takes place July 13th through July 15th. Their tagline is "not your typical marketing conference." We would love to see speaker lineup gender ratios like this become more typical across the board! With 44% women speakers, MozCon is our newest entry into the GenderAvenger Hall of Fame .

Their three upcoming events feature an array of speakers, topics, and panels — and a startlingly dismal number of women onstage.

#HallofShame | Outside Lands 2015 [UPDATE]

August 7th is the kick off for Outside Lands 2015, a three-day-long festival in San Francisco featuring over 50 musical acts. Only 31% of those musical acts in the 2015 lineup include women.

While several all-male bands appear on the lineup, First Aid Kit is the only all female band. The festival also includes 25 male solo artists and just 8 female solo artists. Most of that 31% comes from bands with just one woman in their lineup.

Hall of Fame | Personal Democracy Forum 2015

Personal Democracy Forum showed that they practice what they preach with their 2015 lineup, which featured a Hall of Fame gender ratio of 47% female speakers. When they brought together thought leaders from various fields to discuss their 2015 theme, "Imagine All the People: The Future of Civic Tech," they made sure that women were an equal part of their dialog. And this isn't their first balanced speaker lineup: PDF 2014 featured 49% female speakers.
